After a fun experience with pfSense in a VM the itch to work on hardware is getting more intense. Having one powerful RAM limited 16 thread desktop is not as exciting as I thought it would be. Now I want a half dozen second hand computers to host Pi Hole, pfSense, Unifi Controller and 3CX Server. If I can set up a 3CX server I can even look at VoIP phones. I already have a used tp-link managed switch. I just need end devices to make up a functional network.
Lets see if I can get some hardware in for tinkering.
