My name is Jemuel Griffith I have taken my first steps toward becoming a Network Engineer. This page is a way for me to chronicle my journey as I develop those skills and experiences.
The genesis of this page comes after graduating from UTT and the pandemic of 2019 – 2021 hit and left its mark on the job market. I decided document my technical development as a way to keep myself motivated. The idea for this came after watching a countless number of videos by NetworkChuck, Lawrence Systems. and David Bombal. These videos included training on the developing new enterprise technology, enterprise storage solutions, WLANs and practical network design and deployment skills. In addition to basics of Cyber Security and developing maintainable infrastructure.
Education
I graduated from UTT in 2020 during the pandemic, although I was robbed the opportunity to participate in the traditional graduation ceremony. Even though I have always known my career would be in ICT. For a long time, I couldn’t figure out what specialization I would pursue.
During my time at UTT, I fell in love with networking, and I decided to make that my career goal. At UTT I was exposed to complex networking principles like OSPF, Access Control Lists, VPN, VoIP, Network Security and VLANs.
Since then, I have completed the CCNA study material with ITProTV, and am nearly completed my Computer Engineering BASC at UTT. In addition have completed Introduction to Cyber Security SimpliLearn SkillUp.
I have recently become fascinated by solar and battery backup power. Therefore, I have started learning to install residential photovoltaic systems at SBCS Global Learning Institute. I hope to one day install a system at my home.

So where am I right now?
I am currently work for the Government of Trinidad and Tobago as an Information and Communication Technical Officer. I am the first level of technical support for users, systems and infrastructure for the government.
