Now I Wait

It is done. I have completed the final exam of my final class for my bachelor’s degree. The exam was a nail-biting experience for me. I was not prepared as I thought I was when I went into the room after opening the exam pages. I did my best in the room I was able to put something down for 4 out of the 5 required and 6 available questions. That gives me some coverage to reach the magical 50% grade to pass. Now I await for the results, which are due June 10th, 2026. I am trying not to think about it too much and trust that I am successful.

Now that am starting to look beyond school, I have been itching to start building homelabs again. I want to play around with Radius servers. So, I intend to build myself one from a scenario I invented.

Company has a Domain with users. This domain has a file share and remote users need to access this file share when not in the office. Set up a VPN to allow remote users to access this file share and the wider domain.

Now since I have very little hardware, I want to commit to this temporary project. I will attempt to set this all up using only virtual machines using Hyper-V on my main PC. VMs I am going to use to try to accomplish this are pfSense, Windows Server, and Windows 10. I will have a full write-up of what I did and how later. Look forward to it here.

Here is a preview of what that will look like.
